伦敦大学亚非学院创（SOAS-University of London）立于1916年，是欧洲的亚非研究中心，为在校的3000多名学生提供了高质量的教学。1917年成立时名为东方学院，后来因为增加非洲方面的教学和研究项目，才改为现在的名称。
